No. 01 — Contact

A partner answers this, usually the same day.

There is no enquiries inbox and no associate triaging it. Say roughly what the business does and what has prompted the question, and one of the three will come back with a time.

No. 02 — Mandate enquiry

Tell us what has changed.

A partner needs a name to reply to.
Please enter an address we can answer.
Roughly what the business does is enough.
A line or two is plenty to start.

No. 03 — Before you write

What happens after you press send.

One of the three partners, usually within the working day. There is no enquiries inbox and no associate summarising it — the person who replies is the person who would run the mandate.

Not for the first message. Say what the business does and what has prompted the question; leave out anything you would not want in an email. We sign your NDA before a second conversation, or send ours the same day if you would rather use it.

Nothing, and there is no engagement letter attached to it. Ninety minutes with a partner, a view on value, and a straight answer about whether this is the year. Roughly two in five end with a recommendation to wait.

Then say so. We will not pitch against a mandate that is running well, and we will tell you if the process you describe sounds like the right one. Where a second opinion is genuinely useful, it is a paid piece of work with a fixed fee and no strings.

Six live mandates is a hard ceiling, so the honest answer moves. If the book is full we will say so in the first reply and give you a date rather than a waiting list.
