No. 01 — Track record
Everything we are allowed to show you.
Audited closings since 2011, across eleven jurisdictions and four continents. Most of the sheet stays confidential — no tombstone is published without written consent, which is why this page is shorter than the record it describes.

No. 03 — Selected transactions
Eight the founders let us print.
Value is enterprise value at completion. Where a founder asked us to withhold it, the row says so rather than rounding it away.

No. 04 — The long version
Two mandates, told properly.
Both founders read and approved these before they went up. Neither of them describes the part they found hardest, which was deciding to start.
Industrials — sell-side — $412M
Ihlen Valve & Control
A third-generation flow-control manufacturer whose board had been told twice that the business was worth eight times earnings.
Six weeks of vendor diligence rebuilt the margin bridge, which moved the story from a commodity valve maker to a certified aerospace supplier with a twelve-year order book.
Eleven months later it sold to a Bavarian group at a multiple the family had been told was impossible — with the freehold retained and every one of the ninety-four staff kept on.
- 11 months
- UK → Germany
- 94 staff retained
Family capital — special situations — $96M
Kellaway Holdings
Two branches of a family that had not agreed on anything for four years, a covenant test due in March, and a lender who had already appointed advisers.
We were engaged on a Tuesday and delivered an options paper in nine days. The route chosen was the one nobody had modelled — a staged buy-out of one branch funded by unitranche — and it closed in fourteen weeks without the company ever going to market.
- 14 weeks
- No market process
- One branch exited
